How to make access to a single corporate mailbox for several users (with different rights)?

There is a corporate mail on a regular hosting, I use it through squirrelmail, the rest of the minions through Thunderbird.
Problems:
1. After reviewing one letter, the rest do not see it as incoming, constant problems.
2. It so happened that the password is walking around. You need to restrict access somehow.
3. Is there a web interface with different accesses to a single mailbox ?

Instead of a mailbox, make a distribution group so that when a letter arrives at this address, it is sent to specific mailboxes.
If the password is circulating, warn and change the password.

well, as an option, you can make one box where the letters go, and the rest to set up the collection of mail from the box is simple, without deleting the original.
This is how I collect mail from 5 mailboxes into one on gmail, but I delete the originals, and you just need to store them on the main one so that you can pull other people

Logically, on the server side, the message is marked as read
variant from Vitsliputsli is the most sane
Not expected by the protocol, access is either there or it is not, if it is, then it is Read/Write
