How to make a test environment in WordPress?

I work in a company that has an online store on WordPress, I ran into a problem that they don’t have a test environment in which I could make edits on the site and other useful things.

Can you tell the unknowing plugins or how programs for creating and configuring such an environment?

1. Buy hosting \ do not buy hosting, but use local aka OpenServer.
2. Duplicate the online store to your hosting by disabling indexing and counters.
