How to make a simple search in Bitrix?

Hello. Recently I started to study Bitrix. There is a product catalog. I want to make a simple search so that the products come out in the form of a table. The standard search components are very cumbersome and, in my opinion, impossible to modify.
I want the products to come out simply in a tabular form.
How can you access the directory, for example, as a database and just get an array?
