How to make a pure js bot?

Hello, I wanted to make a bot for instagram and realized that it doesn’t work, because js is forbidden to work with other tabs and after the redirect the script stops working. Googled it and found out what most people do with node.js. I have a question. Is it possible to make a bot in pure js without using libraries and node.js? For example, as a browser extension.

As a browser extension, you can. But there will be more hemorrhoids and more difficult than on nodejs. Why do you need this?
