How to make a private chat between two users on Rails 5?

Hello everyone) I am making a site on rails and would like to implement a private chat between users there (for example, like in vk, facebook). I saw examples, but there is only a general chat room. Maybe someone has code examples or tutorials. It is desirable that the chat be implemented on the action cable. Thanks in advance)
