How to make a peripheral sql database?

The crux of the matter is as follows. There is a SQL + 1C7 bundle, from which 1C peripheral databases are unloaded and loaded to exchange data with remote stores. Now one of the stores has broken the database, as I understand it, due to the 2 GB limit of the dbf file. And because on other stores, the size is close to this limit, the task arose to transfer the work to local SQL servers. No one wants to allocate money for the purchase of licenses, there is a requirement to organize all this using SQL express. But there is a catch in that there is a free database size of 10 GB, and the current size is very close to that.
Question 1: is it possible to upload data from a common SQL database to several peripheral ones for each store in order to reduce it?
Question 2: will the exchange with points using peripheral 1c bases then work correctly?

Well. the first thing that came to mind was to switch to 8-ku.
And the second will be puzzled with the volume of the base that is needed in the store. What information, superfluous sometimes, so as not to bother, I make a complete cut. You can trim the base by deleting previous periods. There is a central database for analytics.

1) You can unload, the size will not decrease from this.
2) If you set it up properly, it will work.
