How to make a main partition from a logical partition in Ubuntu (Linux)?
There are basic and extended sections. I would like to expand the main partition at the expense of the extended one, but I can’t figure out if this can be done at all using a logical partition that is located in the extended partition.

First you need to reduce the logical partition, then reduce the extended one. And only then increase the main one. Everything can be done in GParted.
