You can connect the domain to Mail For Yandex Domain: https://pdd.yandex.ru/
There, in the settings, create default mailboxes where all mail for non-existent mailing addresses will fall, and in that single mailbox, configure automatic forwarding of everything to [email protected] mail.ru

No, it does not depend on the hosting, but mainly on the domain registrar.
I have a mail redirect set up on Namecheap (bottom of the page). You can create as many virtual mailboxes as you want on your domain with a redirect to real mailboxes (addresses of real mailboxes do not light up in any way if you use them only for receiving). You can collect mail for other addresses (for which there are no rules) in a separate mailbox. And all this has nothing to do with hosting. Hosning can be anything. Or you can not buy any hosting at all if the domain is only for mail.
