How to make a histogram in the form of races?

I would like to display the scores in the table in the form of car races. How I would like it to look - showed in the picture;

1) Use an external service that will generate an image from the data, and get it using IMAGE (). I doubt that there is already ready, but something similar is worth looking for.
2) Look in the direction of chart-api , perhaps if you delve into customization, something similar can be drawn, but this is not accurate.
3) Draw a diagram with cells, their borders, etc. This is the easiest way, although a crutch.
