How to make a grid of photos like on photo stocks?

Hello.
I would like to ask a question about the location of photos on popular stock sites:

encountered a similar problem in my work.
There is a certain grid for the arrangement of photos, but all photos of a certain aspect ratio, all this is adjusted to the screen.
In the desktop version, I arranged the elements in a certain way so that they would look normal, but with the tablet and mobile version, it doesn’t fit in my head how to customize the elements, what should be the algorithm for transferring and scaling images to the screen.
