Create a sitemap

I have a website (my own code), there are articles and courses (dynamically generated from the database).
I do this: once a day I create a new sitemap with the 1st sitemap.xml file and there I have all the entities (and courses and articles).
In WordPress, I looked there are plugins that create not one file, but several for different entities. + also under pages = a separate file.
And what is more correct?
