How to make a file share based on Windows Server as the main file storage location?

Good afternoon, when installing Nextcloud, I want to make sure that the files are not stored on the web server in the default data folder, but on a separate server, represented by Windows Server, on which the file storage is raised.
How is this done correctly?
A folder under Nextcloud is created on the file storage (with access for a specific user), after which a folder is mounted on the machine where Nextcloud is running with authorization to that folder on behalf of that user)

Yes. The rights to the folder must be from the www-data web server. You can mount as you thought smb2.
