How to make a field of 10x10 squares?

Good afternoon! I want to make a field of 10x10 squares as in the picture, I tried using CSS, but somehow it doesn’t work out beautifully, a large indent on one of the sides, I tried to do it simply through float, please tell me, in order to make an adaptive field 10x10 for the width of the entire screen, you need to use canvas or is it possible to implement everything through css?
