How to make a develop branch on a subdomain the main one?

Good afternoon,
Please tell me how to make the master branch on the main site - the main one, i.e. information from the master branch is displayed, and on the main subdomain, make develop so that information from the develop branch is constantly displayed. Is it possible to set it up this way, and if so, how?

Deploy two different versions of the code (each with its own .git directory and its own branch) and make two virtual hosts looking into those directories.
