How to make a continuous collection about the instantaneous frequency of a signal in LabView?

I need to know the frequency of the signal very quickly from time to time.
But you have to read 1000 samples ...
(initialization on the left, and frequency reading on the right)

Why? Yes, because there are old samples in the buffer and xs how many of them are there!
"Status -> Aviable Samples Per Channel" returns null.
Restarting the measurement is not an option as it would take too long.
