How to make a bootable ubuntu flash drive writable?
The situation is the following. The new hard drive died. I have written ubuntu on a flash drive and boot from it. The problem is that all installed softwares and all settings are lost after a reboot. How can this be fixed?
Half a year ago I did it somehow and everything was intuitive, but now I can’t find the function.

Install OS from flash drive1 to flash drive2. Work from a flash drive2.
It is better to use USB3.0 for such purposes.
