How to make a 301 redirect with a trailing slash?
Hello everyone
, the SEO specialist set the task so that each page, including the main one, ends with /
Decided
to do this with a 301 redirect with
Moved
Permamently other pages
But not on the main page
Perhaps the browser removes this
But the tools for checking redirects show 200 server response, that is, without a redirect
The task is to ensure that the redirect occurs necessarily on a slash at the end
The actual two links work with and without a slash
But it is necessary only with a slash
If you put a hard redirect, then it is done 50 times and, accordingly, the site crashes

I would like to note that neither Yandex nor Google like it when the path ends with a slash.
Why force a document down a level?
/catalog/document is the second level of nesting,
/catalog/document/ is already the third level.
The deeper a document is placed, the lower its SEO weight. Not much, maybe a fraction of a percent, but why do worse for the site?
Well, only if the task is to really bring some pages out of the foreground. But then it's easier to put them in the add. directory /catalog/subcatalog/document than to suffer with a slash.
And if on the topic, then you can try to implement all this in one fell swoop through a rewrite rule at the web server level.
