How to make a 301 redirect in .htaccess when migrating a site?

Good afternoon. I know that a lot has been said on the Internet about 301 redirects, what they are, why, etc. But I'm confused.
Help me decide how to do it right...
The crux of the matter:
1. there is an old website site.com on html
2. a new website was developed on wordpres (php) on the new.site.com subdomain and all information was transferred from the old one.
3. For convenience, I wrote out the links of the old site and similar links of the new site in the table.
The question is how best to do to minimize the loss of positions? for each page write
Redirect 301 site.com/oldpage.html https://site.com/newpage/
Is that enough?
