How to make 2 workspaces automatically on login?

Every time you have to divide the window into 2 columns (View>Editor Layout>two columns), how to make this the default value? Or at least set a keyboard shortcut for this?

1. The hotkey for splitting vertically is CTRL+\.
Horizontally - CTRL+K CTRL+\
The hotkey settings themselves are called View: Split Editor for vertical and View: Split Editor Orthogonal for horizontal splitting.
2. Either by dragging the tab with your hands, as already suggested above
3. You can also call the Command Palette (hot key - F1or CTRL+SHIFT+P) and find the Split Editor command through the search. It will be enough to enter the word "Split" and it will already be possible to find
