How to link two sites?

Greetings! Maybe someone faced the problem that there is not enough space on the hosting. How can I link another FTP server to the hosting so that a person can upload files to it, maybe it changes somewhere in the Wordpress engine. For example, a person wants to upload a document so that it is not loaded on the hosting but on another server. Help!

on the document - just make a link and store it on any cloud or some other ftp.
if these are pictures from the design of the pages themselves, depending on what your hosting is. On Linux, you can pull up a "shortcut" to a folder in ftpshnik by mounting it as a remote drive. On Windows - did not bother. no ideas off the top of my head.
