How to link storage correctly?

To the point:
There is a storage folder in the lara and there are quite a lot of third-party packages that require storing some files there.
For example, scribe , which autodocuments api, requires in its default state that files with answers or requests be stored in the storage

folder instructions for deploying the application through (using) CI, which says that when installing from the git, we drop the storage folder and link it to the "base" storage folder outside the current version, but the general one.
Also, there are many other similar instructions that talk about the same actions, and it sounds kind of logical that all files are contained somewhere in one place, and do not roam from one version of the project to another

In general, both the first and the second seem very logical, but somehow incompatible.
How will it be more correct to act in the end?
