How to link or embed data in Google Docs?

I'm interested in the possibility of linking or embedding data from Google Sheets to Google Docs, so that when any values in the table change, the related values \u200b\u200bare automatically updated in the document. Similar functionality is available in ms word and ms excel, but it is the work with Google documents that is of interest. Maybe someone has already encountered a similar problem?

Technically, this is possible with big reservations.
First of all, don't compare Google services to a desktop app, it will give you a clearer view of things.
Second, there are no built-in tools. And, if you read "first" again, they are not needed.
Thirdly, you can dodge and programmatically add values to the Document, but this is rather troublesome. In the end, Google Apps Script has a certain class Class Range , which, nevertheless, is still hanging around idle.
That's all that can be said on the merits at the moment.
Usually, the issue is solved by creating templates and generating new Documents based on them, and not by converting the current one.

Updated 2019-01-23 It
is possible to "attach" a Table to a Document. It is necessary to select the range of the Table, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the Document. Example https://vk.com/wall-174824632_8
