How to limit the maximum number of amperes in the battery?
I have an e-bike with a 24v / 15Ah battery installed. The problem is that the controller does not have a limit on the maximum number of amperes. Because of this, the battery overheats after a while and turns off (apparently it protects the built-in mechanism). How can I limit the maximum number of amps that a battery can deliver? For example, make sure that the battery can give a maximum of 8A.

With such a current, it is not so simple and there will be losses, albeit small ones, you can start, for example, from this forum . You also need to take into account that when starting from a place, for example, large currents are needed, although not for a long time, if the output is limited, it may not be possible to move off and all the energy that flows to the engine will go into heating it.
