How to learn how to create applications for Android and get related knowledge from scratch?

I know that the native language for Android Development is Java. Is Java SE used/enough for development? It turns out you need to start learning Java from scratch, and then move on to the specifics of Android. Or you can combine, perhaps there is not very sophisticated literature for Android development for those who have not programmed in Java?

Without normal knowledge of Java SE - no way. Now books like "androed in 2 weeks" are widespread, they give basic knowledge of Java - but they are not enough, you will rewrite the listings, not understanding what's what. However, if you have a lot of experience in C-like languages with OOP, then you can sit down and write, Java in Android is not difficult.

There are books and collections of lessons on Android development for those who have never programmed. It's not hard to find them on google.
But if you want to become a serious developer, deep knowledge of java is essential. You can buy a book on android and a couple of books on java - this will be enough to start.
