How to know if Turbo boost is enabled on macbook or not?

It just feels like the Air 13 is kind of slow, although I specifically ordered a model with i7 and 8 Gb RAM.
As soon as I turned it on for the first time, I immediately made a recovery from a TM copy of the previous laptop (Macbook Pro 13 2012).
Maybe there are some settings wrong or something else, but I still have the feeling that the proshka was noticeably "faster".
In short, the problem may be that this turbo boost does not turn on for me, because the system is essentially a "clone" of the old laptop on which this boost did not seem to exist.
Well, either the last Airs are really slow. Then I have no idea how people with i5 and 4 gb of RAM work for them.

There is a program called Turbo Boost Switcher that shows if Turbo Boost is enabled and can either force it on or off.
