How to integrate one yii2 advanced project into another?

There is a corporate local site on yii2, advanced template. And I wrote another yii2 advanced project, which is supposed to become part of that same site (like a forum, etc.). These projects have two different databases, but with overlapping tables (the same names, some fields, but different content). How can you integrate a new project into a finished site?
I read about modules on yii2, but, as I understand it, only the basic project is suitable there. What is the best way to proceed in my case?
