How to install Wordpress on Openserver?
Good day to all.
There was a need to install Wordpress on Openserver at work. Did not work out. With what it can be connected, it is not clear. Installed both the latest version of Wordpress and previous, different versions. The result is the same. It doesn't work and that's it. After creating the database, user and password and setting them in wp-config.php, I restart the server, start the site, but it does not start, it says there is no connection.
Came home, installed Wordpress at home on Openserver in 3 minutes. And at work for half a day I could not install. And one more thing is not clear: on all sites it is written about the installation of Wordpress, that there you need to rename the wp-config-sample.php file to wp-config.php and in this file you must manually enter the database name, username, password. And at home it was established without it. I just downloaded the archive, put it in the domains folder, created the database and started the installation. And that's it! the wp-config.php file itself appeared in the folder, I did not rename it, and did not write the database name, user, password there. Who knows what could be the reason for such a difference in installation on different computers?

1) you do not need to create wp-config.php yourself When you open a domain or localhost, you will see the installation menu and wp-config will be created in the process
2) You did not describe the entire installation process and what error you get after that ...
3) You must to look at the configuration of openserver on a working computer, whether you are installing the VI correctly, check the version of PHP and the muscle. Check hosts file. Does openserver start at all. Do you restart the server after uploading files, etc.
