How to install Windows 7 on Dell XPS 15 9560?
There is one XPS 15 9560-0049, Toshiba XG5 SSD (stock).
A futile hour of playing around looking for drivers was not successful.
It does not see the disk either in RAID mode with slipped drivers for RST, or in AHCI, with slipping drivers from various toshibs and oss, but not from XG5 (which I can’t find, for the life of me) (with osznvme it also won’t start in ahci mode).
Guys who came across / bothered, throw up-to-date and working drivers.
The request of special individuals with the eternal question "WHY NOT TO INSTALL WINDOWS 10" to pass by.

Patched with gigabyte patcher (usb 3.0, nvme fix), raid mode in bios and rst driver F6.
Everything is working. The driver is everything, there are no problems.
it will be hell. seven does not support the chipset on these machines. so hemorrhoids with firewood on the ssd is
just the beginning. It will be easier to put Linux on it. or something-what-you-can't-talk about here, and drive a seven in it in a virtual machine.
By the way, they write that such dances with the seven pass for Samsung ssd on these machines without any problems. The driver is taken from Samsung.
