How to install Telegram on Linux?
I tried to put it like this:
add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/telegram
apt update
apt install telegram
Writes that everything is fine, it was installed. The icon did not appear in the program list. From the console, it is also impossible to launch the telegram command.
The second way - just download distro, unpack and use.
Does everyone really put it that way? Somehow it's crooked or something.
And in what folder it is better then to unpack it?

Create the programm directory in the user's home folder and unpack it there, then run the "Telegram" installation script from there, and that's it.
