The following font packages are installed by default in ubuntu:
fonts-freefont-ttf
ttf-dejavu
ttf-dejavu-core
ttf-dejavu-extra
ttf-indic-fonts-core
ttf-punjabi-fonts
ttf-ubuntu-font-family
ttf-wqy -microhei
You can download deb packages with them from packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/fonts
You can unpack archives with 7zip ( 7zip.org/)
And installing fonts is just copying them (ttf files from archives) to c:\windows folder \fonts
