How to install OpenBSD on NanoPI R1?
The task was to put OpenBSD on the NanoPI R1 microcomputer , which has an Allwinner H3 processor of the armv7 architecture family . The official documentation does not say anything about the support of this particular computer. But there are similar ones. For example OrangePI Zero
The photo shows which boards are supported.
But if you look at their FTP and images for armv7, then there is a completely different picture:
only 5 computers and there is no one that works at least on Allwinner H3
. Of course, I showed the right scientific approach and tried to install each image.
I used Etcher (on Windows) then as written in the documentation (by the way, it is terrible in my opinion) through the dd command. But nothing happened.
Surfing the Internet, I came across an article that described the installation of OpenBSD on NanoPI Neo .
But the author did not disclose, in my opinion, how he did it, the more I got confused even more.
I also tried to find an old version where there is an image for Orange PI Zero (on an Allwinner processor). But they were not on the server either, even in older versions. I will be grateful to everyone who helps me decide or push through to a solution.
