How to install more recent version of nodejs???
I want to install a more recent version of nodejs or even install nvm for windows. I want to ask how to remove an already existing version of node so that there are no conflicts in the future. Regarding nvm, I tried to install nvm-windows, everything is easy and simple there, but it doesn’t work! Anyone who came across this and solved the problem, please help, I will be very grateful.

Install vagrant and don't worry.
--upd--
Yuri Puzynya windows hate is quite reasonable. The absolute part of node libs is tailored for nix systems, whether you like it or not. The vagrant version solves this problem in the bud.
Don't be masochistic. Leave Windows for games and applications tailored for it. The rest is fun to do on *nix platforms..
index0h , kale , keep your Windows hate to yourself.
Gasherez , as I understand it, your goal is to still work through nvm-windows, and not just update the nodejs version.
In this case, the main thing you need to do is remove the path to the nodejs folder from PATH. Optionally, you can delete the folder itself.
I can also advise updating npm to the latest version.
