How to install linux distribution next to windows if there is no auxiliary boot partition?
Hello!
When I developed the hard drive, I created 3 partitions: 2 main, 1 extended.
Partitioned via gparted in xubuntu live.
I installed windows on the first main one, after that I installed xubuntu on the extended one.
After installing it, the Windows bootloader broke.
As I understand it, this happened due to the fact that I did not create the same system boot partition.
Can you please tell me if you can save this structure and put them side by side?
I am very superficially familiar with Linux, I just noticed that I can mount it in an extended /boot point
, is this what I need?) I don’t want to reinstall everything again, please tell me.
Thank you for your attention.
