How to put linter-eslint in ATOM editor. I downloaded it, opened the settings, set it to use globally, what else is needed to make it work?

Install the linter package, as linter-eslint is an extension for it.
Add the .eslintrc configuration file to the project root, or specify the path to it in the plugin settings.
