How to install Lettuce 0.2.20 on ubuntu 14.04?

Guys, I started to master ubuntu here. and now I need to master the Lettuce 0.2.20 tool, which is designed for writing autotests, but I just can’t install it! Here is the site of the product lettuce.it/index.html
do it as it says on the site in the terminal, you need to enter [sudo] pip install lettuce
what I get the answer [sudo]: command not found
ubuntu 14.04 is on a virtual machine under VMware 7.1
