How to install jdbc thin driver on Ubuntu to work with remote Oracle DB (console)?
I installed the oci8 driver, but gives a connection error. (oci8 is installed, configured, etc.). There is a working connection to netbins on another computer, but it connects via jdbc thin. I need to install jdbc thin, but I can’t find a normal manual, If someone did, tell me plz or give me a link.

There is a regular jar file that you need to slip into the CLASSPATH of the "working example".
Here they talk about connecting to a local server.
