How to install GCC 6 on OpenSUSE 42.1?

zypper in devel_base installs GCC 4.8
How can I install the same set of utilities but with the GCC 6 compiler?
In general, how to install a newer compiler with all the binutils utilities, which is not in the distribution's repository?
