How to install Debian with a minimum of garbage?
Need advice. I want to defeat debian's gluttony. With a minimal installation (SSH + standard programs) it takes up a gig of space. Well, I do not believe that the gig is all you need. I basically need apt-get, network and go. I will deliver the rest myself. But damn gig is somehow dofiga for this. Tried and expert instal and normal instal, one fig. Booting from mini.iso (28Mb)

localepurge, delete mans. In general, not many files from this gig will turn out to be necessary and installed from packages, some /var/cache/apt/ may be sourly filled. For example, the cache of standard repositories is 100 megabytes.
Gig is a lot, isn't it?
Well, if yes, put Kolobri, what really.
But in general, either cut your assembly, or install from the main disk (NOT from netinstalla), and without connecting to the Internet.
