How to install "Apache" 1.3.34?

Here - www.filewatcher.com/m/apache_1.3.34.tar.gz.2468056... - I found download links for this version of "Apache". What I need it for is not so important; the bottom line is that I have never installed Linux applications from source code and I don’t know how and what, and even more so with such an old program.

If you were able to find the file, were you sure you were able to download it?
if so, then it remains just a little bit
1. unpack the archive
2. read the file with a very capacious name INSTALL, which lies at the root of the archive. (just so in capital letters and is called)

1. on which linux distribution will you install it?
2. and yes. Why do you need this? I'm sure there is a more elegant solution for any of your reasons...

and I assure you, you will be the only owner of an Apache on the Internet that is vulnerable to the exploit that is described in Google :)
