How to install 7-ku under UEFI?

Hello everyone and have a good weekend,

In general, the thing is this: they gave me a laptop with uefei at work, it had 8 pre-installed on it. I installed ubuntu, deleting the eight partitions and repartitioning the disk. Now I need to install also 7-ku, so that there is a dual-boot. The problem is that I just can't boot from the DVD, it's not in the list of possible download sources. If I enable CSM in the BIOS (UEFI backwards compatibility mode; as far as I understand, this almost disables the UEFI), then I can boot from the disk, but then I can’t install Windows, because. the disk is marked under GPT (GUID Part. Table), while Windows wants MBR. No, in general, Windows 7 in the 64-bit edition can work with GPT, but UEFI must be enabled for this. And with UEFI enabled, I can't even get into the install dialog.
If anything, laptop - Asus N56V

How to be here? Maybe you can repartition a disk from GPT to MBR without losing data? (there are a lot of self-assembled programs on ubuntu, I really don’t want to waste time again building, deploying, etc.)

Secure Boot is disabled

PS I also tried to boot from this disk with Grub-a, but I just don’t know how yet ... It’s not clear on which file to set the chainloader.

For myself, I found a way to install win 7 under UEFI from a USB flash drive, but have not tried it yet. Link .

It's simple, you just need to install the installer on a USB flash drive. Create a small FAT32 partition on a flash drive partitioned in GPT, 16-32-64 megabytes, in general, in size / EFI / BOOT on the windows installation disk, with the identifier EF00, copy the EFI folder there, and another large partition, most likely NTFS, where all the rest of the data from the installation disk will be.

Try editing the iso file: copy /efi/microsoft/boot folder to /efi/boot

1) Try to install Windows from a flash drive. The official utility from Microsoft. www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool
2) How to boot from an optical drive roughly - last time I did it like this:
root(cd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader + 1
boot
sometimes chainloader --force + 1 helps

There was exactly the same problem (UEFI did not see the boot DVD, although all the files on it were visible). It turned out that an underloaded image was written to the disk; After reloading the problem is gone.

I followed instructions like this - remontka.pro/uefi-boot-usb
