As far as I understand, there is a problem in order NOT to recode at least the video.
You still have to separate it with a demuxer, it's fast, after that, you can do everything with the sound (but better without time correction;) ). Then encoding with any encoder that turns up in the original format, then gluing with the video with a muxer, this is also fast, the video remains untouched.
With Adobe Audition you can do whatever you want with the sound . Watch a couple of YouTube videos and everything will become clear . You can add video files to the program and work with their audio tracks.
