How to improve the quality of exported STL from Compass 3D?

Good day colleagues!
Faced the following problem. After exporting the finished models from the Compass 3D v18 program to the STL format, all round objects turn into polygons (they look more like nuts than round bushings). I went to Menu - Settings - Options - Rendering accuracy and MCC, set everything to the maximum. The effect of this, if any, is clearly not the one I expected (polygons anyway). I tried to change the units of measure from millimeters (by default) to decimeters, meters - no effect. In addition, exported STL-models have "dancing" dimensions.
For myself, I solved the problem like this: when creating models (details), I specify the dimensions 10 times larger than the real ones, and after exporting, I simply scale them 1:10 already in place. In this mode, round parts also look like circles and the sizes do not jump so noticeably, but I think there must be some more correct solution?
PS As an alternative - please recommend other CAD programs for designing parts in 3D, some not too sophisticated. I tried FreeCAD - the controls are just terrible, in my opinion. Looked SolidWorks - too cool for me. Thank you.
