How to improve image quality in Outlook signature?

Faced the following problem:
When inserting an image into a signature, the quality of the latter deteriorates when sent to the addressee.
Is it possible to fix this?

Also fiddled with this.
As it turns out, Outlook compresses pictures up to 96 pixels per inch (DPI). Our logo originally had a DPI of 300, reducing it to 96 in the graphics editor ruined the quality. So far we have settled on 150 pixels per inch. Try!
