How to import products from price lists into opencart?

There is an old version of ocStore 1.5.3.1. From suppliers we have periodically sent price lists in xmlx format, in any requested file structure. The goal is to load these tables and check whether the price has changed by the name / article of the product, whether this product is in stock and, accordingly, if it does not find the article, it adds a new product. I tried the Export/Import Tool plugin, but there the reconciliation goes by the product ID, and because of this, the whole idea breaks. Advise the suitable tool please.
