There was a need to write an Android application, I began to study Android Studio from scratch. (At the moment, the skills are at the level of processing button clicks and performing various actions with other objects)
The crux of the matter. It is necessary to write an application that, for example, will download several numerical values ​​​​(for example, date and time) from some remote source (server, database) every 30 seconds. Information in the database will be entered manually, and the application should simply display the content.
What is the easiest way to implement this? I would be grateful for any information in a language understandable for beginners
