How to implement nested Postgresql tables?
Hi everyone, On the database side, there was a need to implement a nested date structure.
Where on the client side he chooses step by step from the drop-down menu "Year-> Month-> day" and the required table is loaded from the database. What are the convenient mechanisms?

A database with a table for every day is not correct.
I had to work with one software product, where every day a new table was generated in the database (more precisely, not one, but several). After some time of using the software (2-3 years, if I'm not mistaken), the database stopped working. the number of tables became so large that the database engine refused to work with it. I had to manually delete the old tables in order to revive the software.
