How to implement in django the similarity of "plugins" and "hooks" as in wordpress?

Good afternoon. I really like modularity in WordPress. You upload the plugin, activate it, and you get an additional one. functionality anywhere on the site where hooks allow it. It would be interesting to implement something at least a little reminiscent of this act. That is, also add hooks in your project, then upload "plugins" to a separate application and, when they are activated, so that something changes on the site. I don’t know yet how useful it will be at all, but for now it’s just interesting, is it possible to implement this? And, in fact, how?

You compare the framework with the CMS, and therefore do not find what you want. Grab Django CMS or Wagtail and enjoy life.
