Hello! I need to implement Haar wavelet. But I don't really understand what it is.
Can someone please explain? What it is? What is it used for? And how is the Haar wavelet different from the Haar transform? It's just that in the Haar transform, as I understood it from Wikipedia, they simply find the half-sum and half-differences of numbers, but to build the Haar wavelet, you need to use some complex formulas, and I'm not very good at mathematics.

The Haar transform is a signal convolution with a Haar wavelet and a scaling function.
