How to implement change checking in access?

In base on access there is the most usual numerical field. This field is often searched, and it is quite rare to change values or add new ones.
However, it often happens that in the heat of work, the value to be found is entered not in the search field, but in the table itself. Accordingly, the value that was in this line before is lost. CTRL+Z doesn't always help.
Is it possible to apply a change check to this field? So that with each change, for example, a notification pops up saying that you are going to change such and such a line.
