There is a task - you need to implement auto-update of modules / improvements on CMS OpenCart .
I wanted the site to knock on the server and, if there are updates, download files and place or replace existing ones.
Who has information, resources, solutions on this issue - I will be grateful if you share something!

I will say one thing - in the conditions of Russian realities of development - this is a huge hemorrhoid, not because it is difficult to do, but because of the crooked "specialists" who will use the solution. The solution is primitive https://habr.com/ru/company/webasyst/blog/122451/, but everything must be configured correctly, otherwise it will download, overwrite and fall off safely))
I would not recommend using auto-update
